There is more than one way to insert your lenses. We recommend you pick the method that is the most comfortable for you. Always wash your hands with a mild soap and dry them completely with a lint-free cloth (not a paper towel) before handling your lenses. So you don’t get your lenses mixed up, it’s a good idea to handle them in the same order each time.
Place the lens between your index and middle finger and put a few drops of solution in the bowl of the lens.
If it’s hard to support the lens on two fingers you can use the “tripod method” by pinching together your thumb, pointer and middle fingers to support the lens.
Occasionally, the soft skirt will fold over. Simply use your finger to flatten it out
before putting on the lens.
Difference between inserting Duette and soft contact lenses:
Balance the Duette lens on 2 or 3 fingers instead of 1.
Learn how to properly remove your SynergEyes lenses:
Place the lens bowl-side up in the palm of your hand. Rinse your lenses with solution. Never rinse or store your lenses with tap water.
With the pad of your finger gently rub the entire lens in a circular motion against the
palm of your hand. Be sure to thoroughly clean the entire lens and then rinse it well with saline or an approved solution.
Disinfect by storing in a multi-purpose solution approved for use with Duette lenses. (Please see list below of approved solutions.)
